Media Requirements

Before submitting work

All Media must be submitted through a shared drive URL i.e. Google Drive, DropBox, etc. Please ensure that you review the Media Requirements required for each submission type. To keep entries anonymous during the judging process, please remove the following before uploading any media:

  • Agency credits

  • Individual credits

  • Agency logos

Uploading images

Note: All medium types require an image to be uploaded to the entry in order to submit payment.

Required specs for Image Uploads:

  • Please make sure images are no larger than 5000 x 5000 px

  • File types: PNG, JPG, SVG, AI, EPS

  • Color mode: RGB

  • File size: up to 50 MB

If the work requires multiple images, each image must be uploaded individually as a separate image file. If your entry is selected for an award, the image provided will be used as a thumbnail on the Winners' Gallery on the Richmond Show website.

Uploading videos

Required specs for Video Uploads:

  • Resolution:
    Minimum: 1200 x 720
    Preferred: 1920 x 1080
    For vertical videos (e.g. social posts): 1080 x 1920 or 1080 x 1080

  • File types: mp4

  • Compression: h264

  • Sound: AAC 44kHz

  • File size: up to 500 MB

  • Video platform: Vimeo* or YouTube or Google Drive

If your entry is selected for an award, provided image will be used as a thumbnail on the Winners' Gallery on the Richmond Show website.

*If you use Vimeo, please make the video available for download.

Uploading PDFs

Required specs for PDF Uploads:

  • File size: up to 50 MB

  • PDFs can be either single page or multiple pages

  • PDFs do not need to be 300dpi resolution

  • We suggest using Adobe's 'Reduced Size PDF' feature when saving your file

Uploading audio

Required specs for Audio Uploads:

  • File types: mp3

  • Sampling rate: 44 kHz (44,100 Hz)

  • Bit rate: 196 KB/s (maximum)

  • Sound: Stereo

  • File size: up to 50 MB


Required specs for URL:

  • Entrants must keep the URL accessible online for judging through June 1, 2023

  • Please provide any login credentials required to access the URL

  • Please do not have the case study within the URL*

  • URL entered may not contain agency name at any point, including but not limited to website, webpage title or within the URL link
