David Griner

Now serving as Adweek's international editor, David Griner has held a wide range of roles at the publication over the past 15 years. In his current role, he oversees Adweek's rapidly going international coverage team. He also hosts the award-winning Adweek podcast Yeah, That's Probably an Ad and co-created Adweek's copywritingSuper Bowl Bot, which won the Shorty Award for Best Use of AI. Prior to working at Adweek full-time, he spent eight years as a copywriter and content strategist for agency Luckie & Company.

Shaun Stripling

Shaun has over 20 years of brand strategy experience within agencies coast to coast including DDB, McCann, McKinney and MullenLowe. She has worked on iconic brands like Audi, Lenovo, Staples and Ulta Beauty as well as small but meaningful non-profits such asUpstream USA and start-ups like Flow Water. Shaun has a passion for MTW and leadMullenLowe’s center of excellence called Frank About Women.

A published writer and speaker, Shaun has contributed to global thought leadership and numerous white papers. She has whipped up a TEDx Talk, was a Cannes panelist and facilitated global research in India, Singapore, Amsterdam and the UK, which contributed to successful worldwide brand strategies. Shaun has moderated over 1,000 hours of qualitative discussions including full groups, IDI’s, taste tests, product tests, deprivation studies and enthnographies, both in person and virtual. A former chief, Shaun loves all things mid-century modern and can throw a wicked vintage dinner party.

Guy Seese

Guy Seese is an American creative director with nearly 30 years of industry experience. He started in Seattle and was recruited to New York City, where he spent the early part of his career. His celebrated “L’original” campaign for Evian is included in Miami’s Museum of Contemporary Art and in Bruce Mau’s Lifestyle and inspired Ben Stiller’s Merman scene in Zoolander. Five years later, Guy returned to Seattle to lead Cole & Weber and is credited with reinvigorating Rainier Beer by co-writing and directing a television show, outfitting a Ford F150 with a giant neon “R” and retrofitting the brand’s graphic design. Graphis magazine declared Guy an “international creative leader.” He has worked at Goodby, Silverstein & Partners and Wieden+Kennedy. As a freelancer, he spent three years traveling between Portland, Oregon and Germany, collaborating with the global leadership of Adidas. Guy is the EVP, ECD of Wunderman Thompson Seattle and supports the creative leads on T-Mobile, Microsoft, Washington’s Lottery, the International Committee of the Red Cross and theWNBA’s Seattle Storm.
