Tickets are selling fast for the Venture Forum’s 2010 Greater Richmond's Companies to Watch, to be held on Thursday, October 29, 2009 at the Capital Ale House in downtown Richmond. Greater Richmond's Companies to Watch celebrates Greater Richmond's companies with high growth potential. GRCTW 2010 presenting sponsor is Troutman Sanders, with LeClairRyan, Williams Mullen, the Center for Innovative Technology Gap Fund, Cherry, Bekaert & Holland, The Help Desk Company, and VACO on board as event sponsors. Richmond, VA –- Oct. 9, 2009 – The Venture Forum’s annual Greater Richmond's Companies to Watch event is again becoming a hot ticket. Considered the ultimate event for entrepreneurs in central Virginia, GRCTW registration is speeding up, and the Venture Forum, who hosts the event, is expecting a sellout crowd. Registration is available on the event and Venture Forum websites – tickets are $50 for Venture Forum members and $75 for non-members through October 15. After that date, prices will increase to $75 for members, and $100 for non-members.
This year’s GRCTW will feature a keynote presentation by E. Lawrence Kersten, PhD, founder of Despair, Inc. and the creative mind behind products such as the Demotivators calendar and the Pessimist’s Mug, which cheerfully mock the motivational posters frequently seen on break room walls.
