Richmond, VA – September 21, 2006 – Sarah Barr Johnson has been hired as Director of Sales and Marketing as well as New Business Development by RainMaker Studios, the Richmond leader in commercial broadcast post production.. The announcement was made by RainMaker Executive Producer, Kristin O’Connor.

“Sarah Barr is a producer and creative by nature. That combined with her current working expertise in the interactive broadcast arena will move us faster into growing territories,” said O’Connor. “2007 is going to be huge.”

Johnson remarked, “It is going to be exhilarating to master a new field and help RainMaker expand its footprint in both services and clientele. Johnson, a native of Petersburg, VA, has an extensive background in sales, account management and new business development. Her previous experience includes working as an Account Executive at Style Weekly and then subsequent to that since 2002, as the Manager of Advertising Sales for Richmond.com. Prior to both of those assignments, Sarah Barr was a Regional Account Manager and then Director of Corporate Communications at Aegis, a marketing firm in Nashville, Tennessee.
