ATLANTA Siddall has been retained as the agency of record for the Fairfax
County Economic Development Authority following a review that included more
than 25 undisclosed contenders, sources said.
This marks the sixth time that the shop has pitched and won the account
since it began working with the FCEDA in 1978. Siddall in Richmond, Va.,
will team with Qorvis Communications of Washington, D.C., to provide public
relations support for the county's business development efforts.
The shop will show how much business opportunity exists in Fairfax County,
said agency chairman John Siddall. "We are charged with reinforcing the
perception that Fairfax County is where technology best belongs," he added.
Siddall noted that past campaigns focused upon helping FCEDA with
business-to-business marketing. The new efforts, powered by Qorvis'
StreetBuzz program, are aimed at attracting new business interests to the
county, sources said.
Annual billings are undisclosed.
