Neathawk Dubuque & Packett’s work for Meals on Wheels fundraiser awarded Best in Public Service.
An advertising campaign created by Neathawk Dubuque & Packett for Meals on Wheels Serving Central Virginia was awarded Best in Public Service at the ADDY Awards of Western Virginia March 4 in Roanoke.
The campaign, which includes print advertisements, posters and billboards, uses comical culinary mishaps to build awareness for the organization’s annual fundraiser, Zest Fest. In addition to the Best in Public Service honor, elements of the campaign were awarded ten Gold ADDYs and three Silvers.
“Of course we’re thrilled that our work for Meals on Wheels was recognized in such a well-known competition,“ said Roger Neathawk, CEO of the agency. “But having just attended Zest Fest, I’m ever happier that we helped promote such a great and worthwhile event.“
“It’s rewarding when good creative work does its job.“
The Meals on Wheels campaign helped Neathawk Dubuque & Packett win more awards than any other agency in the competition, with a total of 17 Gold ADDYs and 13 Silvers. The agency also won a top creative award, the Howard Packett Award for Creative Excellence, as well as a special judge’s award for Excellence in Copywriting.
